SounDose ("we", "our", "the app") is an ambient sound and neural experience application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

We collect minimal data. SounDose is designed to work without requiring any personal information from you.

No account required. You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in to use SounDose.
No personal data collected. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other personally identifiable information.
No audio data uploaded. All audio processing happens locally on your device. No sound data is ever transmitted to our servers.
No tracking or analytics. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.

2. Subscription & Payment Data

SounDose offers optional paid subscriptions managed entirely through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

All payment processing is handled by Apple or Google. We never see or store your credit card, billing address, or payment details.
We use RevenueCat as a subscription management service. RevenueCat receives an anonymous, randomly generated user identifier to manage your subscription status. This identifier cannot be linked to your personal identity.
RevenueCat may process: anonymous user ID, subscription status, purchase date, expiration date, and product identifier. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

3. Local Storage

SounDose stores the following data locally on your device only:

Your app preferences (volume, duration, haptic settings)
Trial start date (to manage the free trial period)
Subscription status (cached for offline access)
Active sound mixer state

This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

4. Children's Privacy

SounDose is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

5. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service integrated into SounDose is:

RevenueCat — for subscription management (anonymous identifier only)

We do not integrate any advertising networks, social media SDKs, or analytics platforms.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to share.

7. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no data to retain or delete. Local data on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

8. Your Rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations, you have the right to:

Request information about data we hold about you (we hold none)
Request deletion of your data (uninstalling the app removes all local data)
Opt out of data collection (no data is collected)

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
